Goldband snapper is a premium reef fish from Northern Australian waters—sweet, firm white flesh that holds up well to heat and suits a range of preparations from pan-frying to steaming. Its firm texture makes it more forgiving to handle than flathead or whiting.
Cook from thawed—skin-side down over medium-high heat for most of the time, flip briefly to finish. The skin crisps well. Like all ButcherCrowd seafood, wild-caught and rapidly frozen.
