Is this the same meat as a ButcherCrowd box? +
Yes. The same 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef and the same Australian free-range chicken, from the same farms, held to the same standard.
Do I need a ButcherCrowd box? +
Yes. Our Chef Prepared Meals are available as selections in your Custom Box (Small $169 or Large $279), alongside our meat and seafood cuts. They're also available as add-ons to any of our ButcherCrowd boxes. Either way, your meals arrive together with your box, with no additional delivery fees.
How long do they take? +
Seven minutes in a 1000W microwave from frozen (six for the Satay Chicken), then a one-minute stand. In a 170°C fan oven, move it into an oven-safe dish, cover it and allow 50 to 60 minutes from frozen. Times are on every pack and are a guide only. Heat until piping hot throughout.
Why frozen, not fresh? +
Freezing at peak is how we keep them without preservatives. They're cooked in small batches and rapid-frozen the day they're made.
Where do I find allergens and nutrition? +
You'll find allergen and nutritional information on every dish card above and on the back of each pack. All our meals are prepared in the same kitchen, which also handles all major allergens, so we cannot guarantee that any meal is free from cross-contamination. If you have a food allergy, please read the allergen information on the packaging carefully before consuming.
Can I skip or cancel? +
Yes, there's no lock-in. Skip, pause or cancel anytime from your account. If you're not 100% happy with an item, we'll replace it or refund your money.
